So for the past year about I've been doing research on waist training, I've checked out a million different sites and tutorials. I jumped the gun last week and finally purchased one & it arrived yesterday. I am absolutely in love. The one I purchased came from orchardcorset.com, they have an amazing site even if you don't plan on purchasing through them they have all the information you might need to know on one site, like how to safely waist train, how to measure yourself and what not. I would definitely recommend checking their site out if you have questions or are browsing.
I personally purchased a steel long boned one, around 84 dollars which may be pricey to some but I looked at it as an investment. I am trying to train my waist to look the way it does inside the corset when I take it off, but anyone will tell you that to do that you need to diet and exercise as well. The corset isn't just some magical thing you put on and will instantly give you a same waist.
The only cons about wearing my corset is that putting it on myself is very hard, I usually need my boyfriend to help me & it is in no way comfortable what so ever. I'm hoping that will pass with more wear.
I really want to stress the importance of getting a steel boned one if you plan on waist training, if you get one without steel boned you're falling into the category of "waist clinchers" which will make you shave an inch or two off with your clothes on but ultimately do not work really waist train. Corsets especially the ones with steel boned will actually help you re shape your body with prolonged wear and shave off about 6 inches depending on how your body is shaped. Clinchers are more for working out in and maybe sleeping in after you take your corset off.
